My name is Aden Khalif Sh-Abdullahi. I'm from Somali. I am the president of the association of Somali students in Sakarya. I also studied the high school in here. I am a senior student at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, Department of International Relations and Logistics. Many students have achieved success in their normal lives after graduating from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences. Taking an example from them, I chose this university. Although I am originally from Somalia, I grew up in Kenya. I have never seen any snow there. I had seen snow in a Turkish TV series on TV and I had questions about how the snow would be, whether it would rain like I saw it or if it would fall like stones. These questions were answered when I arrived in here and I am very happy now. There is an exam called YÖS (Foreign Student Exam) that we take at the end of high school. I applied for that exam and chose my department with an average score of 78 out of 100. My perspective on trade has changed a lot, especially after I chose International Trade and Logistics Department. My perspective on news in the current world has changed a lot. I frequently follow the news about the trade. I have improved myself a lot in communication area. I want to specialize on marketing because I feel closer to marketing. When I came to Sakarya, I did not encounter many problems. One thing that I can describe as a problem was the housing problem I had when I first came here. I consulted this problem with our professor in Statistics department at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences. He helped me with many things. In the first two years, he supported many issues and were able to help me in solving my problems. I am very satisfied with the level of academic research and education at the university. I would like to tell our friends who will prefer Sakarya University of Applied Sciences that Sakarya city is a very beautiful, very calm and student-friendly city. I highly recommend it to those who want to come. After graduation, of course, I intend to stay in Turkey for several years. Since I want to direct my career towards the marketing area, I will have to stay in Turkey for a while in order to maintain the links between my home country and Turkey. I wish success to the friends who will choose Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
