My name is Diomgang Tuodo Esiher Duchriste. I am from Cameroon and I am 21 years old. I am studying at the Faculty of Medicine. I have been in Turkey for 4 months. During my research, I found out that Turkey is a very beautiful country. Living here is cheap and easy. My faculty is one of the best in Turkey. I had no worries about Turkey. One day, my family told me about the YÖS exam and after I passed the exam, I immediately applied for a visa. After a short time, I came to Turkey. I am very happy that I made my dream come true. People in Turkey are very helpful and hospitable. After the results of YÖS exam came in, I chose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. During my selection process, the registry office took care of everything and thanks to them I am here now.
When I decided to choose Turkey, everyone told me how wonderful, helpful, loving and hospitable people in Turkey are. Whatever your color, black or white, they treat you in a helpful and welcoming way. And this is the best thing in relation to my experience in Turkey. I have gained a lot academically because my university is a very good educational institution. I feel very comfortable being in Turkey. When I have any problems about school or anything else, the staff of our university always helps. For example, when I just came to Turkey, I had problems with finding a suitable dormitory. The staff of our university helped me a lot in this regard. To be honest, the quality of education at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University is very high. Our laboratories and instructors are well-equipped, and our instructors are always here to help with any educational issue. I do not regret choosing Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. When I was new here, the International Office organized a dinner meeting for foreign students. A few months later, we joined a free tour organized by the university staff. I chose Tokat for my education because Tokat is a very calm and peaceful city. The things you require to study, is a calm and peaceful environment. Tokat is a great place for that. If you want to receive a quality education abroad, my advice is to come to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University.
