Hello, I'm Sema Aşar. I am a student at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Finance. Our library is located at the center of the campus, intertwined with nature and is also easy to access. The study halls of our library are suitable for multi-purpose use and have been designed to support our studies and research work. In addition, our audio-visually equipped halls are also allocated to our students. Apart from our central library, we have the Faculty of Medicine and Theology libraries, and we also have branch libraries in our districts. Our library collection consists of printed, electronic, visual and audio information resources. Thanks to our rich and up-to-date collection created in line with the demands of students and academicians, our university is among the best libraries in the region. All students at our university are given orientation training on the use of collections. Thanks to the free wifi provided in our library, we can use our own computers as well as use the computer laboratories in the building if needed. Computer laboratories are open to the use of all our students and have free internet connection. Apart from our study halls in our library, we carry out group work in our audio-visual halls. We can easily access the electronic library services on and off campus. Nowadays, we need electronic resources as well as printed resources. We can easily access thousands of resources through the database that our university is subscribed to. In addition, providing consultancy services on this subject makes the use of resources easier. Thanks to the Smart Library System in our library, we can perform our literature searches through the library portal. This makes it easier for us to stay in touch with the library. We can borrow the books we need from our library for 1 month. In addition, we can extend this period for 1 more month through the portal. Thanks to the electronic loan return device, we can perform our transactions in more flexible hours. Our library is open for use between 8 am and 11 am on weekdays and weekends. During exam periods, the hours are slightly extended. Our library is open 24/7 upon request.
