Farabi Exchange Program

I am Mustafa Gül, a PhD Lecturer. I am the Farabi Coordinator of Tokat University. Our students and faculty members who receive education in associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in higher education institutions and High Technology Institute in our country can apply for the Farabi exchange program. As an application condition, the grade point average of our associate and undergraduate students must be at least 2 out of 4. For master's and doctoral programs, the grade point average must be at least 2.50 out of 4. If our students are enrolled in a program that provides education in a foreign language, 50% of their grade point average and 50% of their foreign language scores combined to come up with a success score. If our students do not pay any registration and tuition fees in the programs they are registered to, they will not pay at the university they attend. If they pay tuition fees in the programs they are enrolled in, they will pay these fees to their own universities. In the Farabi exchange program, 50% of the scholarship amount provided by the Council of Higher Education is provided. 70% of this scholarship is paid to our students on a monthly basis during the semester. When 30% of them receive their participation certificates at the end of the program, students are paid according to their success. In the related scholarship directive of the Higher Education Law No. 5102, scholarship payments which are 50% increased are provided to students. This amount can change every year. 70% of this scholarship amount is paid to our students on a monthly basis during their education. 30% of the students are evaluated according to their success status at the end of the program when they receive their participation certificates.
