Hello, I am doctorate teaching assistant Ahmet Serhat Anaç. I am the International Student Coordinator. For our students to apply to our university, they must first have an international identity. Then, as per the application criteria, their average must be above the levels determined by our university or they must have a certain grade point average from the related exams such as Baccalaureate and Abitur held in their domestic country. While admitting our students, our university opens its doors to our students no matter what their religion, language or race are. It gives them the opportunity to study here. There are foreign language lessons that our future international students can benefit from at our university. A preparatory training for foreign language education is given at the School of Foreign Languages. At the same time, in relation to Turkish education, our international students have to study Turkish for a minimum of 1 year and they have to present a certificate showing that their Turkish level is at least at the B2 level. Our university studies continue to enable accreditation at undergraduate and graduate levels. We are in continuous contact with the ministries of education, higher education ministries and higher education boards of other countries and we do our best to accredit ourselves and our university. We are working on this particular issue and we are trying to increase the number. Our city has many social means. With its shopping centers, cafes and recreation areas, the province of Tokat actually has many social benefits. There are also places such as swimming pools, sports halls, tennis courts, cafes and recreation areas where students can spend time in our university. Our students shall be able to pay very small amounts to benefit from such opportunities within the university. Our international students can both benefit from the quotas provided by the Credit and Hostels Institution depending on the quotas, and they can also meet their accommodation needs by paying a monthly fee of nearly 80 dollars from the private dormitories in our city. Currently, 3150 international students from 53 different countries are studying at our university. We invite other international students to study at our university and increase our numbers.
