Faculty of Medicine

My name is Mehmet Can Yüce. I am a third grade student at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine. Our faculty is located in the city center campus. The aim of this faculty is to train competent, effective and specialist doctors in the field of health. In our faculty, 3 years of theoretical and 3 years of practical training are provided. We have courses like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. We have laboratories such as Anatomy, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Histology and Pathology in our faculty. We receive our applied training in these laboratories. We receive theoretical training for the first 3 years in our faculty. Starting from the 4th and 5th grades, we start internship training and in the last year, we complete our internship program and graduate from our faculty. After graduation, we have the opportunity to work in various places such as emergency services, community health centers, family health centers, public and private hospitals. In addition, we have the opportunity to work as assistants by taking the Medical Specialization Exam. This job was actually a dream for me since childhood, and this dream turned into an ideal over time. This desire was the biggest factor for me to choose this department. Due to the sufficient facilities of our hospital, the wide range of practical training and the opportunity to receive one-on-one training with our instructors, I chose Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine. When I graduate, I aim to become a good physician who loves medicine, respects patients and human rights, and acts in the light of Atatürk's principles and science. I recommend students who love helping people to choose this department. In addition, I recommend the candidates who will choose this department to work hard and keep their knowledge up to date by doing research in the field of medicine. I wish success to students who will take the exam. We would be happy to see you among us.
