Hello, I am Zeynep Binbaş, I am studying in the 4th grade at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Bioengineering. I'm from Tokat. Our department was established to combine engineering principles in the fields of biology and chemistry. In this regard, we could say that this department requires individuals who have developed ethical values. It is located in the Taşlıçiftlik Campus, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. In our department, we take courses in accordance with engineering principles. We take courses such as Thermodynamics, Transport and Numerical Analysis and Applications in Bioengineering. We also take Cell Biology, Medical Genetics, Genetic Disorders courses. There are also applied courses, which are our laboratory courses. There are 8 laboratories in our department. 2 of them are student laboratories and the other 6 laboratories are used by academicians. We can do our internships as a part of our professors studies, in the food and agriculture sectors and in the health sector. Our internships are mandatory and are for 40 working days. These internships can be done in two stages, each for twenty working days. Our graduation projects are on subjects related to the department and we carry out our graduation projects in the 4th grade. When we graduate, we can basically work in the food, health and agriculture sectors. We also take part in planning, research and application studies in the R&D departments. The reason I chose my department was that I love biology and chemistry and I had a talent for it. I also had an interest in the health sector. That's why I chose my department. The reason I chose my school is because the university is successful and has a strong academic staff in its field. My first goal after graduation is to receive postgraduate education and then to progress by concentrating on pharmaceutical companies in the field of health. Our university is a successful university; At the same time, our department has a successful academic staff. Therefore, I recommend the candidates to choose our university. Our department is a multidisciplinary department. We take courses based on engineering principles and courses related to the department.
